Choke the smoke:
Keep your car tuned - it makes sense.

Win $650 worth of fuel.

Your vehicle has had a tune up. the technician who carried it out or the service advisor can let you know what work was carried out and the condition your car was in when it first arrived.

Having your vehicle tuned makes sense, it will bring a variety of benefits. For you, lower running costs and a more efficiently operating vehicle. For the wider community - cleaner air with fewer harmful emissions, better public health and a cleaner environment. You'll be pleased you had a tune up carried out, and so will your fellow New Zealanders.

As part of the new Emissions Testing Rule, all vehicles will be checked for visible smoke emissions during the WOF inspection. So it makes sense to have your vehicle tuned regularly to ensure its running as per the manufacturers specifications.

How often you get a tune up depends on a number of thing including the manufacturers specification, the age and type of vehicle and the type of use it is put to. The MTA member that carried out this tune up will have advised the next recommended tune up on the sticker you'll find inside your windscreen.

The final part of your tune up is going into a draw for a chance to win $650 worth of fuel. Each month for three months, three lucky winners will be drawn and win $650 worth of MTA Gift Vouchers.
